When you use our app, you may provide:

• Body measurements you log (weight, hip and waist circumference)
• Progress photos you choose to take for body scans, and the scores derived from them
• Workout activity (planned and completed sessions, sets, reps, durations)
• Nutrition data (meals you log, meal photos, calorie and protein targets)
• Messages you send to the in-app AI coach
• Feedback and support communications
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
We automatically collect:
• Device information (device type, operating system, unique device identifiers)
• Usage data (features used, time spent in app, session frequency)
• Log data (IP address, access times, app crashes)
• Analytics data (interactions, preferences, in-app behavior)
1.3 Health, Body and Photo Data
ButtMaxx is a fitness app. To build your training plan and nutrition targets we process information about your body (height, weight, measurements, training experience and goals). If you use the body scan feature, the photos you take are uploaded to private storage that only your account can access and are analysed by an automated AI system to produce zone scores that help you track visual change over time. These scores are a consistent visual assessment, not a medical or body-composition measurement.
Meal photos you take are analysed by an automated system to estimate food items and nutrients; the estimate is shown to you for confirmation before anything is saved. Messages to the AI coach, together with a summary of your plan, recent sessions and targets, are sent to our AI provider to generate a reply. None of this data is used to train third-party AI models under our agreements with those providers.
You can delete individual photos and meals in the app, and deleting your account removes all of this data permanently.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
• Provide and maintain the app's functionality
• Build and adapt your training plan, nutrition targets and progress tracking
• Send you workout and supplement reminders (if enabled)
• Improve and optimize the app experience
• Analyze usage patterns and app performance
• Respond to your support requests and feedback
• Process subscription payments and manage your account
• Send important updates about the app or policy changes
• Prevent fraud and ensure security
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
3.1 We Do Not Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
3.2 Service Providers
We may share your information with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the app:
• Cloud hosting services (data storage)
• Analytics providers (app usage analysis)
• Payment processors (subscription management)
• Customer support tools
• Advertising platforms (Meta, TikTok, Google, Apple, Pinterest, Reddit) for ad measurement and optimization
• A mobile measurement partner (AppsFlyer) for install attribution and analytics
3.3 Conversion Tracking
To measure the effectiveness of our advertising and find people who may be interested in ButtMaxx, we use a mobile measurement partner (AppsFlyer), whose SDK and server-side integrations share limited data with the ad platforms listed below. This does not place third-party advertising cookies or tracking scripts on your device.
The data shared includes:
• Hashed (SHA-256) email address — cannot be reversed to your plain email
• An internal user identifier (not linked to your name)
• Your device's advertising identifier (Apple IDFA / Google Advertising ID), only where you have granted tracking permission
• Conversion events: account registration, subscription start

On iOS, you may be asked for permission to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. We do not sell this data — it is used solely to measure and improve our advertising.
